Help. NEWDOT.. issue

Dear all,

need help. after first scan with MS spyware, I remove the
newdot.. as it was detected as spyware.

Now, everytime my PC starts, it shows this:

Error loading C:\PROGRA~1\NEWDOT~1\NEWDOT~2.DLL.
The specified module could not be found.
**********************

and my firewall (SP2) can't start. Please help.

Two separate issues, and both easy to fix.

Go to a command prompt and type
netsh winsock reset

and hit enter.

That and a reboot should fix the firewall.

If you have Internet security software or third-party VPN software which
works via adding a Winsock LSP, you may need to reinstall that software.

As to the other message, it is harmless but annoying. Others have said that
a fresh scan with Microsoft Antispyware finds this remnant and fixes it.
