***Help?? Netscape

I installed Netscape recently, so that I could run some music videos on my Media Player. But I found But I found Netscape pretty much invaded a whole lot of my computer, so I got rid of it
The problem is, I still have my system telling me that it needs it places, where it didn'
before. Like I tried to look at some pictures recently, and it said that it needed Netscap
Exe (or something like that). I think maybe some of the defualts in the system are now
looking for Netscape. How do I get my system to stop looking for Netscape? Did it
used to use Explorer??? (I'm assuming

Any input in regards to this is much appreciate
 
in ie tools,options,programs and set the defaults there.
any more may require reg edit. do a search on
microsoft.com for "default browser" or reg edit default
browser .
have you tried mozilla.org "firefox" .you can run it out
of your download folder to try it with the executable.

I checked the IE Tools defaults, but it seems be okay

What's happening when I try to open a JPEG File, it's saying that I need NETSCP.EXE, and it never used to say that.

Try right clicking on a jpg to open. Use the Open With command, select
IE, and check "Always use this program to open this type of file."
BTW, Netscape doesn't take over your whole system, but will take over
certain file types when installed. You can correct it using the method
I just described.
