Help needed with print spooler service

I've just connected a lexmark X1150 all in one printer,
and the scanner and everything is doing fine but when i
want to print something, it says that the print spooler
service is not running. I really need help finding out
what this means and what it is... any help would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks
 
I am having the same problem with my printer and I too would like to know how to get the print spooler service to run properly,How do we do this?
