How much space is being taken away from C ?
If it is very little this is normal if C drive contains your operating
system, Their has to be registry entries installed for the operating system
in order for you to open the files placed on drive E.

Clear out your Temp Internet files.....

ccleaner might help
get it at filehippo.com

after you do some house cleaning,
change move your internet folder
directory to the e drive

and you can make a e:\temp
folder then change the enviroment path
for temp and tmp to the new folder d:\temp

g.l...

Regarding "...even when i download things i browse and put it in E but it
still takes away from C..." requires clarification. The problem may be that
Hayden229 is downloading to "C" and then "copying" to "E" rather than
"moving" to "E".
