help-lost addys!

Somehow (Office update??) Outlook 2003 was installed on my
PC. In the process I lost all my contacts in my address
book, all saved e-mail, etc. How can I either restore the
previous version of Outlook or restore the addy book and
old emails. Thanks in advance

It is impossible for this to occur without your knowledge.

Search your hard drive for any file with type ".pst". You will need to
enable searching hidden files and folders. If you find any other than what
Outlook is currently using (File>Data File Management will tell you what its
using), open then with File>Open>Outlook Data File. Examine their contents
to see if it's your lost data. If so, tell Outlook to use that file for
your default delivery again. Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next. Look at the lower
left.
