Help - invalid page fault 0000:10004c30

This wonderful computer - I have received 5 different
errors & it still will not connect to the internet. #1
is res://mshp.dll.index.html
#2 is explorer caused an invalid page fault in module
<unknown? at 0000:10004c30 #3 is explorer caused a
general protection fault in module krnl386.exe at
0001:00007522 #4 is fatal exception
015f:bff9dba7 #5 is module kernel32.dll at
015f:bff9d6e2. I have tried all the recomendations on
the microsoft site & none have worked. Anyone with ideas
please help - my husband went out & bought another
machine so he can use the internet. Thank you!

Thanks for your help - I got the extra spy ware (I had ad
aware) and installed, it found 44 errors which I deleted
but it still does not work, it is still saying #2 below,
the page fault 0000:10004c30. Any ideas? What about
installing XP from my 98 version? Will that solve it?

Did you run CWShredder as suggested?

Yes I did both initially and just now again, I am also
running spybot again with no luck. Still same #2 error
message, yes I did restart the machine after all scans
were complete.

Any suggestions?
