Powerpoint Version 2002 running on Windows XP:
When try to insert movie file, the diaglogue box does not show the MOV
file type. If you force it with *.*, then it won't work. Usually
things tried: Quicktime and Windows Media Player installed. Makes no
difference which oneis associated with file type MOV.

Would appreaciate any ideas. Nothing seems to be coming out of the
knowledge base.

Thanks...

PowerPoint on Windows has very limited support of QuickTime video. You will
either need to convert the video to a file type that PowerPoint likes,
hyperlink to the video so that it opens in QuickTime Player, or buy a Mac
(where QuickTime is supported within PowerPoint).
