Help! Incorrect Dos Version (MS-Dos 6.22) in Windows XP Pro

Hello,
I have a dual boot system running Windows XP Pro and MS-Dos 6.22.
When I tried the command "Xcopy" is gives me an error message stating
"Incorrect Dos Version". What I can do?

Wow are people still using DOS? Why? XP has a most of the old DOS commands
within it including xcopy. Run xcopy from a command prompt within XP.
