Help -> I was moving email from inbox to archived folders and..

they were "lost" in the move.....

I know there must be a way to recover them, but I have not figured it out yet?

Well - how do you mean "lost"? Are they not in the archive you made?

What were your autoarchive settings? Anything about deleting?

Assuming Outlook - why did you not post in an appropriate Outlook newsgroup
instead of a Windows XP newsgroup?
 
Check some of the other folders, sometimes by accident I've moved items to
the next folder up or down then the folder I wanted.
