Help! I prefer not to "log in" to XP each time

I have XP Home and just did a Repair Install. I unknowingly changed
something, so now when I start XP or take it out of Standby, I see my name,
and have to click on it. This was not the case previously. XP would just
launch/

Well, I am the only user, so this is a big waste, yet I can see no way to
correct this in User Accounts. I am willing (if necessary) to redo the
Repair Install, but I need to know what not to do! I had no idea I was
setting up this login requirement.

This is a common problem in this Newsgroup, but I could not download enough
headers to find this problem discussed in Search. How can I extricate myself
from this logging-in requirement?

Click on the "change the way users log on and off" in user accounts. If thats
not available,download TWEAK UI From microsoft/windows xp/downloads.

Hi,

Click start/run, type "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes) and
click ok. In the user list, click on the user that you want to be the
default. Uncheck the box requiring a username and password, click apply/ok
and follow the prompts to set up a default logon.

For standby, open the display properties and go to the screensaver tab.
Uncheck "on resume display welcome screen". Then click power options and on
the advanced tab uncheck "prompt for password when computer resumes from
standby".
