Help - I can't send messages!

I can recieve fine.

This is the message:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Subject '', Account: 'shawmail.gv.shawcable.net', Server:
'shawmail.gv.shawcable.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No,
Socket Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

I can't connect to that server either, but that could be because it
deliberately ignores attempted connections from outside the Shaw
network. Were you sending from home when that error occurred?

If not, which antivirus are you running?
 
Yes I was at home, didn't change anything.

Which antivirus are you running? Some of them are not fully compatible
with Windows Mail.
 
By default, Avast will include an email scanning module that can cause
trouble for Windows Mail.
Chances are, Avast antivirus was installed with its default install option.
If so, uninstall it, then reinstall, but select 'custom' install, which then
allows you to unselect installing its troublesome email scanning module.

While Avast is uninstalled, try Windows Mail again, just to verify that
the culprit has been found.
