I was wondering if there was any way in which I can
restrict access to certain websites so that my family can
use the net safely. PLEASE HELP.

THANK YOU.

You should look into any number of third party
applications like Net Nanny that can do this.
There is Content Advisor in IE that gives some
form of protection for browsing but it is based
on voluntary ratings by the website owners.
Otherwise, Microsoft software for this operates
on servers, not on client machines.

Cut the network or phone cords.
Build a moat around the house.
Have electricity disconnected so nobody might watch something naughty
on radio or TV. Confiscate batteries.

Either that, or quit being such a prude. Porn is merely boring unless you
build it up to be something else.

Let the flame war start... But you could use AOL 9.0 has parental controls
to filter and block porn sites. unfortunately it blocks some educational
sites. Catch 22 if you don't want kids seeing porn, can't let em look at
national geographic either. There are also other things like net nanny,
cyberpatrol, etc.. Don't recommend any of em. Because guess what if they
can't see it at your house they are going to at there friends or school.
Also most kids figure out ways around them.
