Help! how do i turn off the "youve got mail" guy on outlook 2003?.

I have tried going to the control panel and turning off notification sounds.
i also tried doing the options, advanced email and turning off sounds there

but, the guy keeps telling me i have mail! suggestions?

That's NOT a Windows or Outlook sound - you must have had something like AOL
or Compuserve on your machine at one time.
 
Thanks but Still no luck - i only have comcast as a provider and my older
version of outlook, 2002 was fine i now have 2003 and it started when i
insatalled it.

also, i do not have aol or compuserve, etc. Other ideas?
 
I have found out that if you go into tools-options-other-advanced
options-Add-in Manager, you will find a "mail speak" box that you should
uncheck. I have a Toshiba and it came installed. I unchecked it, and...
Walla!
