No techie knowledge and basic user. Daughter accidently reset computer to
factory settings. Took me nearly 4 hours to get internet and emails working
again! Is there any way to restore old email folders as lot of college stuff
saved within? If you can help please make it in simple terms. I have Windows
Vista home premium.

Thanks

Assuming Vista and Windows Mail, open Windows Mail and import them.

Frank I don't think your are reading these posts carefully. Are you tired?
The OP stated his daughter reset (format restore) the computer to factory settings.
If so, there is no way to "import" the mail, it is gone.

Depending on how the computer manufacturer implemented a
'factory restore', you may or may not have access to old data.
Look around on your hard drive for a folder named Windows.old.
If it exists, that will contain all of your old user data.

If present, it has all your old data. Let us know if you need more help.
