Help! File conflict problems

Hello all.....I recently purchased a new computer and purchased frontpage
2003. I used to use frontpage 2000. I migrated all my website files to the
new computer, and now when I make changes on my website and try to publish,
it won't publish my changed pages. Also, it shows that every single one of
my website files are in conflict.

I read up on what to do about this via the help section, but I am concerned
that something is really wrong since ALL my files are such. If I try to
overwrite files or do any merging, I'm afraid I'll ruin my website!

You must do a complete publish to get your local and remote sites in-sync, thereafter you can
publish changed pages only.

Thanks so much for the response! I wonder if you might clarify.....by doing
a 'complete publish', do you mean that I must overwrite all files in my
website? I began to do this and it looks as though it's going through every
one of my files. (three hours worth)
Also.....am I doing this because in order to publish through frontpage 2003,
after previously using 2000, I must overwrite each and every file on my site?

You must do a complete publish to get your local and remote sites in-sync, thereafter you can
publish changed pages only.

Yes, you must do a complete publish any time you have a new install of FP or a complete re-install
of FP, after reformat a hard drive, etc. This is only way to get both sites in sync.

You are doing this because you are using a different machine with a fresh copy of FP, it doesn't
matter if the copy was FP2000.

The only way you "might" have been able to avoid this, would have been to have published the web
from the old machine to the new machine.
