I have a spreadsheet that requires a password to make
corrections and it's on a shared drive so a couple of
people can access it. A co-worker set up a spreadsheet on
her local drive, went into tools, options, edit and
checked off the fixed decimal box and chose 2 decimal
places. When I opened my spreadsheet, the change she made
for the two decimal places also affected my spreadsheet.
This doesn't make sense to me -- especially since I have a
password on mine. Is this scenario familiar to anyone?
Thanks!

Hi,
She opened her spreadsheet, made the change for the fixed
decimal, saved and then closed her spreadsheet. She then
opened mine, made some changes and that's when we noticed
that whole numbers were displaying with two decimal places.

Wow! Doesn't seem to me to be very logical but, this is
definitely something to remember.

Thank you for answering my question.
