Does anyone know what error 0xeb020b88 is?
I am trying to burn an audio cd and each time it gets to the burn, this is
the error I get?

I am getting fed up with it now as I have tried 3 different types of
software and other disks ect..

Can anyone help me PLEASE.....

Hi Paul,
Please include the Software, Hardware and Operating system version for us to
be able to help you.
Try to update the Software for the burner and see if that will help, also
look in the Device Manager and see if your CD/DVD is functioning okay.

Hi Nass,

Software used was roxio easy cd maker, cyberlink power 2 go and droppix.
None of them worked. The operating system is of course windows xp
proffesional and is fully updated on microsoft.
In the device manager it says everything is ok, with the the CD writter.

I am begining to think that it is something to do with roxio, but I may be
wrong. When I power up for example droppix, it just goes all the way through
until it gets to the burn and spits the cd out and displays a message saying
there was an error.
When using cyberlink, it gives a log with the aformentoined error number.
But there is also another message to say the burner is being used by another
program, when it is not!! I think it might be roxio, however when I delet
roxio, cyberlink will still not burn... It says the same error.

Any ideas, or do I continue to hit my head against the pc in the hope that
one of us gives up....

Hi paul,
Try to update or uninstall then reinstall the Cyberlink software and see if
that will help.
If it didn't try to contact or book a ticket to Cyberlink Help&Support.
