Help! Email is stuck like in GroundsHogDay! (the movie)

I keep on getting my mail over and over and over - I lost count how many
times I have deleted all the duplicate emails that have come in today = lets
just say it has been more than 10 of each email - and that is a conservative
#....
what can I do?

That typically indicates a 'stuck' email on the server.
Log in via webmail (using your browser), sort the messages there by date,
delete all the older ones you already have downloaded, plus one more.
Then try Windows Mail again.
