HELP!!! (cyclic redundancy check.)

hello professionals!

im trying to backup my archive.pst & outlook.pst files but seems to have problem!
when i start copying the outlook.pst to another directory.. it displays an error message
"cyclic redundancy check".. what seems to be the problem.?

i tried the "import messages" from outlook express to retrieve my messages from outlook,
but outlook express could not import the entire messages from

i really need help!

BlankHi Alex,

This means that there are errors on the disk. You can try to let Windows
resolve the problems by;
Start-> Run; chkdsk /f

Then run scanpst.exe and let it scan for errors on your pst-file and see if
it is able to repair your pst-files.
