help, can't surf!!!!!!!!!

I'm running WindowsXP, and now when i try to search by key
words using either my homepage search engine, or other
search engines(yahoo, msn, etc.), i get an error message
saying page not found and suggest i got to the lycos
search page. Can anyone please help.

check for update first.
