After access ing following web page http://ios.salisbury.net:8383/ I
received an Internet Explorere error and I am not able to access internet
explorer anymore!!

I have done a restore to yesterday evening, but that doesn't solve the
problem either. If I do sign in as a Guest, my IE works just fine.

I do have Windows Home Edition, latest version. In the mean-time I have
rebooted my laptop a number of time, but no results... any advice??

Thanks in advance,
Ellen

Hi Ellen,

It is very possible that you have a virus on your computer. I did not
access the website you listed since it might affect my computer the way it
did yours. I hope you have an antivirus program on your computer. Update
the definitions and run a scan.

Hi Marc,

I have solved the problem... What a good night sleep can do!!
It was caused by an utility named NoAds. I must have somehow added my
starting page to the exclusion list. I uninstalled NoAds, since I could not
find the link in the exclusion list that fast. After uninstall, I downloaded
the utility again and installed, since it is a great tool for stopping
pop-ups...

But I must have been a bit too enthusiastic last night with adding pages to
the list!
And I only noticed after receiving the IE error on the Salisbury.net page..
which was the cause I blamed it on them, but it was actually me...

Thanks anyway and have a nice weekend!
Ellen
