When I press F1 to keep on my Help Guide I can't see any images?

How can i reisnstall the Windows Vista Guide?

Using Vista Business Original and Licensed.

Do this:

http://www.windows-now.com/blogs/kmkenney/archive/2006/11/25/fix-windows-vista-help-and-support.aspx

If you have been getting the dreaded "Internet Explorer cannot download /
from help" error message when attempting to open Help and Support in Windows
Vista, try this fix. It re-associates the .xml file type with its default
settings. Once you've merged this into the registry, re-launch Help and
Support and it should work.

You can download the fix at

Good luck,

CH

Thanks a lot. I've called Microsoft assistance. They told me to overwrite
the system by reinstall by CD ... i've done ... 2 hours has flawn away, but i
solved. If I only have know this before... but very very usefull for future
(hope none) problems.

Thanks again.

Hi, Lovelord.

I investigated this problem with another affected user. Check if you have a
"Content Type" value with content "image/png" in your HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.png
registry key.

Hope this helps.

Daniel,
I am having the same issue.

Here is my registry entry for .png:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.png]
@="NeroPhotoSnapViewer.Files7.png"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.png\OpenWithList]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.png\OpenWithList\CoverDes.exe]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.png\OpenWithList\ois.exe]
@=""

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.png\OpenWithList\PhotoSnapViewer.exe]

Am I missing something?

Hi, loussaertd.

I've uploaded a fix to my website. You can download the REG file from here:

Thanks Daniel. That worked. It looks like Nero possibly could have been the
reason for this. All of the Content Types for Nero registered files are
missing.
