Help and Support Centre doesn't open

Runnign windows XP Professional (SP1) for about 6
months. Previously I have used the help and support
centre with no problems, though today noticed that when I
click on it, the cursor changes for a second but nothing
comes up. I am not aware of any changes I have made - I
keep my machine up-to-date with Windows Update.

Has a registry entry changed (and where would I find it) -
I know in one of the windows updates recently there was
mention of changes to the windows error reporting system
so maybe this has inadvertently switched off the help and
support option ?
