Dear gentlemen,

There was a miserable thing happened to my PC and I don't know what to
do.
The life I'm leading just like the end of the world. So...dear
gentlemen...I do really need your help for god's sake!

My situation is as follows.

1. Original attempt: It supposed to back up the C disk to E disk with
the "GHOST" software by "Partition to image".

2. Mistake operation: But choose the "Partition to Partition" instead
of "Partition to image" because of careless.

3. Irreversible result: All my useful files and documents in E disk are
covered and disappeared all of sudden! None of my files could be found
and rescued anymore, even use the "FINADATA" software.
None....None...

4. Help: Are there any software or steps I could do to find my files in
E disk back? I just can't go over the sadness of losing my useful
files. Please...Please help me...gentlemen...

Thanks so much for your attention and I'm really appreciate what you do
for me.

Best Regards,
Sincerely yours, Emma

First, put down the razor blade, pills, or gun. Not worth it.

Second, call a professional data recovery company.

Iomega, maxtor and seagate, and drive savers offer this service. So do
others.

It's going to be expensive. But it's your only shot. Also, do NOT
attempt anything further on the drive. Disconnect it.

I'm sorry to tell you this but unless you have an unlimited budget
(like the FBI has in spy cases), your data is well and truly gone.
The reason is simple: You overlaid the whole data disk with
whatever was on drive C:, hence nothing is left of your data:
No file names, no folder names, no file contents. You will have
to treat this disaster as a stark reminder that all important files
must be backed up regularly to an independent medium, e.g.
a 2.5" disk in a USB case. They cost very little.
