Can't do it with Windows. Need to be using an application. What
application and what is the error message?

That's not enough information to figure out your

problem. Do you get any alert?, like denied access cause
that can give some clues as to your problem, or the space
in your disk could perhap be another.

I have a weakness for Danish girls so I would love to help, but you need to
supply more information. Are you trying to save a Word document for
instance? Or a photograph you have taken or downloaded?
