Nobody can help if you don't give us any information. What does "i can save
or delete anything on my d drive" mean? What happens when you try? If you
get an error message, please quote it verbatim.

Maybe he needs to put a CD into his Dee Drive?

Cheers.

The OP probably doesn't know whether it is a real disk drive or a partition.

The OP's problem may be that there is no free space left on his D drive. It
may also be that the protections set on the drive cause the problems.

The OP can easily discover the amount of free space by examining the drive
properties. If the computer is running XP Professional, then the drive
protections are also easily found. With XP Home, drive protections are a
bit more obscure.

Help & Support has copious documentation on how to find the values of these
items. The OP should get the documentation and study it.

How much free space is on drive D? When did this problem start? Could you
ever save or copy files to that drive/partition? If you could what changed
between the time things worked and when they didn't.

The error messages you quote mention "aol". Does this happen with any
files/folders or are you moving/copying/deleting some aol related files?

It could be an issue of ownership and permissions. From Start | Help and
Support search on ownership and then on permissions for info on this or see

Then look at the ownership and permissions issues. Btw, glad you made it
back safe! Thanks for serving.
