I have a 10-20 second delay after bringing up a web page.
I am not able to do anything during that time. Can't
click or type in anything. Anyone know of a fix for
this ????

What kind of connection do you dialup or broadband, if broadband is the
modem connected to a USB port or an Ethernet card? Does your graphics card
have its own memory or does it share memory with main system memory. If it
shares memory as opposed to having its own memory, that might be the source
of the issue. XP is very memory intensive and with the advent of broadband,
web designers are creating more graphics intensive sites, placing greater
demands on the graphics card. If it shares memory, it often is not up to
the demands.

I have a broadband connection and I recently had a
wireless system installed. We have our Xbox hardwired to
the modem and the PC is on the wireless connected via
usb. I'm not sure how to check the graphics card. Please
let me know and I will check that too. The graphics on
the pages are coming up immediately, I just can't do
anything for that 10-20 secs....
