Header/Footer Problem

My Header/Footer keep changing (gets larger) automatically, I have tried
turning off everything in the Options Menu that says Auto but to no avail.
 
Check the Layout tab of Page Setup to make sure that the vertical alignment
is set to Top and not Center.

Sometimes, if a document is damaged, this can happen. See if copying all the
text EXCEPT the last paragraph mark to a new document helps. You'll need to
recreate the headers and footers, as well as margins and other things in
page setup.
