Is there any way to change the format of the Header/Footer? I would like to
add a longer/larger text line in the header and footer.

thanks

Like any other style, the Header and Footer styles can be modified. If you
want your header/footer to extend outside the page margins, apply negative
left and right indents. If you are using the built-in tab stops in the
Header and Footer styles and have reduced your margins, you need to move the
tab stops to correspond to the actual document margins.

Change the indents (and probably tab stops) in the header and footer styles.
