Hi all

I was woundering if its possible to connect an externel USB hard drive to a
router using some sort of adapter, if so what would i be looking for.

You don't need an "adapter", you need a router that understands what to do
with USB hard disks (they _do_ exist), or you need an external hard disk
that specifically supports being used as a NAS (again you can get NAS disks
that let you plug in additional USB or firewire disks).

You have to understand while we throw around terms like "NAS" like it
doesn't mean much but essentially to put a hard disk on a network you're
talking about a server, even if only a basic one, and this does take some
doing.
