hdd partition

hi,

my brother reinstalled windows after it crash, and since
then i have had 2 local drives, my normal C:drive and a
Frive. I dont want to keep this Frive and want it off
my computer as it is useless to me. I am running Windows
XP home. I have tried a somthing i found on the microsoft
site for xp professional but the computer manager wouldnt
allow me to delete the partition.

any ideas?

Perhaps the reinstall was done incorrectly and yr C drive has now been
partitioned, hence the new F drive
What folders are in the F drive.
If nothing you would have to do a clean install, of win* or use a third
party tool, eg Partition Magic
