I got a dumb idea to do a clean install of Win98 on my rig. I use FDISK to
get rid of the NTFS file system on the primary drive. On the secondary
drive, I have a lot of file I keep for storage purpose (pics, files, mpegs,
etc.).
Problem is when I did the FDISK I must zoomed through a question or two and
missed some things about my secondary drive containing error. It said it
fixed something and that's all I can remember.
I have since reinstalled XP but the secondary drive is now showing up as a
unknown system. When I try to view the files on the drive the system say the
drive is not formatted.
I know the drive did not go through a format process. Can I somehow tell
this drive that an NTFS in on the drive or something along these lines to
gain access to the files?
