HD Has Gone Missing

I installed a second HD with Windows XP. It's recognized everywhere in
the system except the "My Computer" folder on the main drive [C:]. It's
not there. In the "My Computer" folder on the new drive, it's labeled [D:]
and everywhere else it's identified as [F:]. This is a puzzlement. I'm not
sure I could explain this to Dell Support, so I'm filing here. Any advice
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is they both bootable?If so dare may be an conflickt

with the 2 drives.it will show the 1 your working with as
a different drive letter.not showing cuz it's recognizing
it as one.call dell there helps you understand,that's
what there their four.H/P helped me out with mine.
