I would like to know if there is any HD software monitoring, I need to know
everything that is being done on HD, because some times the HD blinks a
lot...

Thanks

Presumably run the programs one by one and find out what causes the
blinking.

Windows Task Manager

Processes seems to tell you all the software that is running.

For instance, if I highlight IEXPLORE.EXE shows a 1 or 2 for CPU if I move
the mouse about when I am in IE. Likewise when I am in Word for WINWORD.EXE.

But the programs shown in Task Manager are OK...

CPU utilization is normal...

but the HD leds blinks a lot some times...

any programs wich logs all the HD write activities ?

If you don't mind me saying so, and I am not a techie(!), the LED on my
computer blinks (not a lot). I assumed that was good ie if they blinked. It
seems to me that it is a bit like the heartbeat of the person, if there is
no blinking, then it is dead!

Home computers require a hard drive to work properly and they also
require that files are read and written to the hard drive in order to
run your programs. The LED is letting you know that your hard drive is
working as it should be.

A program that logs hard disk writes would create additional hard disk
writes, which would increase hard disk activity, which would increase
additional hard disk writes - ad infinitum!

Do you really want to lock up your computer doing such?

You would eventually run out of disk space due to the size of the log. You
may even wear out the hard drive prematurely.
