Has anyone got one of these and if so is it any good?

I have three of these and they work without any attention whatsoever.
The only problem is that the initial setup can be a bit touchy with
regards to getting the the things on line. I'v had to reboot both the
managing computer and the router several times during the setup.

Just installed two of them, one a USB the second was a parallel. Everything
went fine although the documentation is iffy. Started having problems soon
afterwards with the printers dropping out form the network. Have both a
HP1012 and a HP2200d and I loaded up the latest drivers.

Each day, we had to unplug the power cord on each to reset them, then you
could see them again. When they dropped off the net, you couldn't ping them
and obviously the printers weren't available.

Replaced them both with LinkSys units, a bit more in cost but it has been -
set and forget. I'd find another brand but be careful since it looks like
the Hawking and several others are from the same manf.
