Any info would indeed be appreciated -- starting with your Outlook version,
the symptoms of the problem, and what settings Sharp suggested were not
correct. Since Outlook itself performs no synchronization, it's hard to
imagine what they might have been referring to.
Professional 2003 -- in the middle of synchronization, it abruptly aborts --
Sharp then did a test and said the communication is fine, but I must have a
"conflict" within Outlook -- yeh, I know, I challenged that verbally, but
they held their ground. I'm not a novice, but I'm not a wiz either. Possibly
some other sync software?? Thanks!
That's vague enough to be useless. Sounds like they don't want to take
responsibility for their product. You might start by using Tools | Options |
Other | Advanced Options to disable all COM add-ins and other Outlook
add-ins, except of course the sync program.
