having trouble adding my email account

If you're trying you get mesages from Hotmail, you'll select HTTP as the
mail type. If it's for your company's mail, it could be an Exchange account
you need to create. Ask your IT support people. If it's for a home ISP,
it's probably POP. Ask your ISP's support people for the server values to
use.
