having problems with sending emails to miocrosoft Communities

If you are not replying to the group you are replying to the sender, and a
lot of people put fake e-mail addresses in the "from" box to keep from
getting spammed. try using the "respond to group"

What is the exact error message?
 
hi,have just had a new laptop,tried to send an email but asked me to fill in
password, email add and which server im on,not very up on computers and dont
even know how to find out which server im on,wouldnt be so bad but did
change it once but cant remember how i did it,how stupid am i. I have read a
few emails and it seems a few people are having similar problems,please help
me if you are im desperate!!!

You have to get that information from your email provider, who is often your
ISO, the one you pay for Internet Service.
 
We need to see the entire error message. Right-click on it,
copy, then paste it into a reply here.

Incidentally, you are posting from the future because your
time zone setting is way off.

I'm having problems with web mail. The error messages are;

Can anyone help?

What is the complete error message?

Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. Also exclude EML
files from the scan. It provides no
protection not provided by the regular resident protection.
Besides that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and
Outlook Express and should be uninstalled. The latest version of Trend's
anti-virus seems to be causing problems too.
 
Look in the lower right corner of your computer screen. The time
should be displayed there. Right-click on it. Select "Adjust Date/Time".
The rest should be obvious.
