Having issues with IE after getting rid of Blaster.

I have two XP machines that got the Blaster worm. One is
connected to DSL, the other is on Dial up. I'm
particularly interested in solving my problems with the
machine on DSL.

If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it. I've
gotten rid of Blaster and of course downloaded the
appropriate patch. Since I've had everything "fixed", IE
won't browse. The DSL connection is working fine, my modem
is fine, everything is working (I tested this with an ME
machine to be sure.) All of my settings are correct. I'm
stumped, and so is everyone who's looked at this since.
Can anyone offer me any ideas as to why this happened or
how to fix it?

Try this:
1. Quit all programs that are running.
2. Click Start, and then click Run.
3. Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK.
4. When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll
succeeded"
message, click OK.

If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2
through 4 for each of
the following files (in step 3, replace Urlmon.dll with
each of the file
names below):
Shdocvw.dll
Msjava.dll
Actxprxy.dll
Oleaut32.dll
Mshtml.dll
Browseui.dll
Shell32.dll (Windows XP and Windows 2000 only)

If nothing works, take a look at these:
