have this in code but it's always false

hey all,
i'm using the following procedure in my page_load:
ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript(me.gettype,"key","script")

however, on postback, it always says false.

any ideas,

try this

if(!Page.IsPostBack)
{
ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript(me.gettype,"key","script")
}

and see if that works
