have a trick for speed up compiler?

i have p4 250 with 1g ram, with modern HD
(WD 120G and enable caching for system and framework, and another two disks,
one for Project, and second for DotNet install)

i want to speedup compiler.

have a way to work with virtual disk on memory, that all operation of R/W
to disk become faster, include framwork DLL?
