"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a computer that is running Windows Vista" http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090 It works for all folders, not just the Outbox. We would need more info on your 2nd problem to be able to help? Check for any stuck message in your Outbox. Please provide any complete error messages in your reply.
