Hello all,
I need a little help with a possible harware
issue. I have a Compaq Evo D310uT that was running
windows 2000Pro. I formatted my HDD with NTFS and
installed WXP home edition. Everything Works great except
my Network Adapter, an Intel Pro/100 VE Network
Connection. XP does not recognize it other than a
Network Adapter, I have tried installing the drivers
automatically, and manually. I have tried the old
drivers (via installcd) and new drivers via download from
Intel. I just don't understand it, please help me.

Is the NIC built into the mobo? If not try a different PCI slot. Have you
tried the driver for it from Compaq?
