sir

I want to swap my old (10GB) Hard drive with a newer
(120GB) one. What are the special steps to take to do this
and not lose all my data. I'm running WINXP.

Install the 120gb drive as primary and reload XP onto it.. then install the
10gb drive as a slave device.. you can then reorganise stuuf that you want
to save on it, and then eliminate XP folders from the slave drive.. having a
second drive installed is useful for keeping impotant files and backups..

If you havent installed WinUpdate SP1 do so. Then if you want to keep your
OS as it is try Ghost or Drive Image.
I would back up all your important files before I begin.
