hard drive appears in blue text

When I view my hard drive in My Computer it says "Local
Disk (C:)" in blue text. Also some folders and files on
C: appear in blue text in My Computer. All the other
icons look normal. It makes me nervous some setting
(sharing? passwords?) is different on those files but
when I look I notice no difference. Any thoughts?

Hi

A blue font usually indicates compressed files (right click and select
"Properties" and see if compression is enabled)...
