Hello,

A former friend of mine my keeps sending me e-mails regularly. I have not
responded to the four or five last ones he has sent me over the last month,
following very disguting jokes he sent me, even if I had told me to stop
forwarding me this kind of junk. But he has not understood the message yet,
obviously. How can Outlook send an error message, like if my e-mail was no
longer valid? I think this is possible with Lotus, but not with Outlook. I
have included his e-mail in the undesirable list, but if he does not know I
don't read them, he will keep sending them to me!

Thankx for your help,

Nadine

Hi Nadine,

I'm just curious...

The situation does sound unpleasant, but if you don't read
the messages, why would it matter that he keeps sending
them?

All the best,

Hi Nadine,

There is couple ways you can archive this:
1. In outlook: you can create a rule with condition that if message from
particular address, it will automatically send a reply back.
2. Ask your mail administrator to create a blacklist for this sender.

Hope this help,

Tan.

Hi Tan,

Thanks for the info, I will try this and let you know what happened!

Thanks for taking the time,

Nadine

Mail clients cannot properly simulate non-delivery reports. Servers generate
NDRs. You can certainly create a rule that will respond (once per session) to
the messages, but why not just create a rule that deletes them? It won't
matter then if he sends them.

If this is a co-worker, you should retain all of the messages and submit them
to your HR people.
