I have an HP laptop and have recently been having some very strange
problems. It is running windows xp home edition. When I try to use
internet explorer it consistently hangs and does not allow me to
browse the internet. Also when I try to go into network settings via
the control panel it hangs as well. When I review the event logs all
I see is an event id 1002 hanging application.....iexplore.exe.
However when I go to a command prompt everything appears to be working
I can ping, nslookup, etc... with no problem but through Windows
nothing. Thanks in advance...any and all help is appreciated and
desperately needed.
