Your video card "appears" to not be supported by the game. Have you made
sure that the game supports your older ATi Rage 128 card?

i dont know i just downloaded the demo and dont know if
the demo can be updated ? and how can i check to see if
theres a chipset for my older video card to d/l or is a
chipset the card its self? and what card will have this
chipset? i mite be able to buy a new ard for around $70
will a 64 mb card work ? my ATI rage 128 is 32mbs? any
help will be grate thx.lee

In addition to Chris's solid advice, you can compare from the
list of DirectX 8 and 9 Version cards which support Hardware
"T&L" which you need for high performance games like Halo: http://www.pcvsconsole.com/features/video/ I hope that helps!

Search pricewatch.com. I would get no less than a GeForce4 4600,(not an MX version.)
Jeff

Agreed. Ti4200 64 MB is a good card for the money.

Cheers!

The RAGE 128 is *not* supported by HALO (any version).

The *floor* ATI graphics chipset that *is* supported by HALO is the R300
(Radeon 8500/8500DV).

All RADEON 9xxx-series GPU/VPUs are also supported.

With current pricing, you can pick up a GIGABYTE *Powered By ATI* RADEON
9600SE (128 MB of RAM!) for $100 USD or less.
