I am running win xp pro. I have erro on booting reads file missing or corrupt. windows root\system32\hal.dll. I have boot magic that loads first then it coms to this error. Using the F8 option i cannot use any of the options. I choose an option it goes goes to next screen namng my operting sytem then goes back to this error no matter wihich is choosen
i need to boot to get to where i can replace this file. Help.
