the harddrive is a seagate 200GB brand new, the OS is supose to be going
on
to the C: drive or frist partion, any other sugestions?? how would I find
the
display you have below in the recover console?
:
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Professional"
/fastdetect
'where' is the partition location multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)
(You
haven't mentioned what kind of hard drive or what partition, so your
description may be different.)
'load identifier' is the name you put in between the quotes "Windows XP
Professional"
'load options' would be /fastdetect

This was a good site, easy to read, but when I type bootcfg /rebuild
the
system ask me where I want to add the installation, enter a load
identifier,
and enter OS load options, any ideas what these may be?
